Things looking good for Obama on healthcare reform



From the talk on Capitol Hill, President Barack Obama looks set to see the most sweeping social reform since Social Security pass the House tomorrow, and the Senate sometime later next week.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi sounded a confident note today about the bill, which will be "deemed passed" and amendments added for reconciliation in the Senate. Obama is meeting today with members of the Democratic Caucus of the House together with Senate leader Harry Reid.
