Senators vote to restore unemployment benefits

The U.S. Senate restored jobless benefits that had been stalled by Republican Sen. Jim Bunning.

Senators voted 78-19 to extend unemployment checks for the 400,000 jobless Americans who depend on them.

Sen. Bunning, who will be retiring from his seat, voted against the extension to the surprise of senators from both parties. Because many senators were absent from the vote, his no vote had held up the new assistance over the weekend.

Everything Obama learned about diplomacy he learned in kindergarten and it is us, the Americans who are paying for him not learing good lessons in the childhood. Hope his putting America on the path of "set a good example and others will follow" philosphy works!
