Barack Obama inaugurated 44th President of the United States

President-elect took the oath of office today becoming the 44th President of the United States.

He had a bit of slip during the oath that was administered by Chief Supreme Court Justice John G. Roberts Jr., but otherwise the transition of power went smoothly.

Rihanna scheduled for Obama inauguration benefit

Grammy winning performer Rihanna will appear at the inauguration of President-elect Barack Obama for a benefit to feed millions of children.

Rihanna will perform at the Recording Industry Association of America's Presidential Inauguration Charity Ball to benefit Feeding America, America's largest hunger relief organization.

"Rihanna's always willing to help out -- she's a good girl," a source told People magazine.

Vicki Escarra, president and CEO of Feeding America, says, "We could not be happier that Rihanna will be performing at the Inauguration charity ball to benefit Feeding America."
