Paul Ryan goes on attack at RNC
Rep. Paul Ryan's speech tonight at the Republican National Convention was the first vigorous prime time attack on President Barack Obama.
The speeches last night by Ann Romney and Gov. Chris Christie largely avoided mentioning Obama. Some commentators wondered whether the Republicans would go easy on the president during prime time because people tend to like him so much.
However, Ryan did provide some "red meat" for prime time viewers.
If one of the main tasks of the convention is to increase Romney's likeablity, then Gov. Christie's keynote did not accomplish much as it was too self-centered. Democratic keynote speaker, former President Bill Clinton, is a master of gab who should do a much better job compared to Christie.
