Obama receives honorary degree ahead of Notre Dame address

President Barack Obama received an honorary degree at Notre Dame Sunday ahead of a commencement speech later in the day.

Obama's appearance at Notre Dame was greeted with protests by Catholic pro-life groups.

The protests are mainly outside of the university's gates, but protest leaders said about 20 people are inside and will demonstrate during Obama's commencement address.
