FOX nixes Obama press conference

FOX network will not air President Barack Obama's news conference on Wednesday, the company company announced today.

While FOX is generally thought to have a conservative bias, it is not unusual for networks to decline presidential requests for press coverage. FOX denied former President George W. Bush on a number of occasions for example. However, given the situation with a deep recession and the recent declaration of a national public emergency, one would think the president deserves some air time.

The network will air the drama Lie to Me instead.
