“What I want to do,” Obama said during a Washington news conference, “is gather all the facts about any staff contacts that I might — may have — that may have taken place between the transition office and the governor’s office.
“But what I’m absolutely certain about is that our office had no involvement in any deal-making around my Senate seat. That I’m absolutely certain of.”
With so many problems facing his transition team from the economy to the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, Obama needs to detach himself from this scandal as quickly as possible.

"Doubts" will be the operative word around Barack Obama for the next four years. Kevin Price of the Price of Business and (www.BizPlusBlog.com) points out that, although the media loves Obama, they love a good scandal more. That is how we will remember Obama.
