Regarding Obama's decision to have Rick Warren for his inauguration. Regarding gay marriage Rick Warren doesn't seem to understand that we live in a secular country and that our founding fathers drafted the Constitution a certain way for very profound reasons. One of them is freedom for all. We have the full faith and credit clause, the equal protection clause, and most of all Loving v. Virginia which said that marriage is a fundamental right and that the state has to pass a very high bar in order to EVER curtail a fundamental right of any of its citizenry. He doesn't know this and he doesn't understand this because he is not well versed in the Constitution. Not many people are. Therefore, he should shut his mouth on this issue, unless and UNTIL he has studied the Constitution and all of the case law regarding the Constitution on this issue. Therefore I recommend that Pres elect Obama choose Desmond Tutu instead. And instead of showing evangelical republicans that he wants to include them, I think by choosing the Rev. Desmond Tutu he is showing the WORLD that America has turned a page in its foreign relations.
