Tom Daschle to serve as Secretary of Health and Human Services

Former Senate majority leader Tom Daschle has accepted an offer by President-elect Barack Obama to run Health and Human Services.

Daschle was one of Obama's earliest supporters and many of Obama's campaign and senate staff had come from the former South Dakota senator own former staff or from his recommendations.
