Hillary Clinton for Secretary of State?

Looks like Sen. Hillary Clinton will be strongly considered for the position of secretary of state based on unusual leaks from the Obama transition team, and a meeting between Clinton and President-elect Barack Obama.

Should Clinton accept it might indicate that she is keeping open the possibility of running for president again in 2016 when she will be 67 years old. In comparison, Sen. John McCain would have been 72 if had won the election.

By becoming secretary of state, Clinton could rack up some executive branch experience and would be better positioned to compete for an Obama endorsement and for his social networking support.
