Hanuman Temple in India Prays for Obama Victory

According to reports, Barack Obama carries around a few lucky charms, "a bracelet belonging to an American soldier deployed in Iraq, a gambler's lucky chit, a tiny monkey god and tiny Madonna and child."

When devotees of the monkey god Hanuman in Delhi, India heard the news, they were ecstatic. They had a 15 kg. gold-plated Hanuman idol made and presented it to Carolyn Sauvage-Mar, chairperson of Democrats Abroad-India and an Obama delegate.
