Obama supports Peru FTA

Barack Obama announced today he will support a free trade agreement with Peru as it met environmental and labor standards.

According to some sources, the AFL-CIO does not support the agreement.

Barack said that he was for free trade under the right conditions: "I am not going to say on a blanket basis that I’m going to vote against trade agreements. We cannot draw a moat around the U.S. economy because China is still trading, India is still trading.”

Michelle Obama involved in traffic accident

A campaign van carrying Michelle Obama collided with a motorcycle on a narrow country road in Iowa Tuesday, sending the motorcyclist to the hospital.

No one in Obama's Chevrolet Uplander was hurt, although the van was badly damaged. The campaign suspended its final event of the day.

Rasmussen Reports has an article that examines whether Obama is experiencing a turnaround in the polls.
