With the "inevitability" of Hillary Clinton again becoming a dominant theme in the media, Barack Obama might want to go into stealth mode.
Some Republican candidates are already starting to concentrate on attacking Clinton while ignoring Obama and the other Democrats. Allow Hillary to be built up as much as possible, driving up expectations.
Then if Hillary loses in January (or December) or even if she wins but just barely and below expectations, she will look vulnerable and momentum can shift rapidly in that case.
