Barack reaches out to Nevada Latinos

Barack Obama's campaign team is launching a statewide effort to court the Latino vote in Nevada with events in Las Vegas and Reno on Friday.

Former Energy and Transportation Secretary and Obama National Campaign Co-Chair Federico Peña will host the events on Friday, October 19th at Si Amigos Restaurant in Reno and Ricardo’s Mexican Restaurant in Las Vegas.

Nevada also has a significant Asian Pacific Islander population with strong presence in the unions of Las Vegas, Reno and Lake Tahoe.
