Obama on fuel and medicine

Here is the video of Barack Obama speaking before the Detroit Economic Club about energy policy, climate change and fuel efficiency. He notes particularly how Japan was building fuel economy vehicles for the future at a time when Detroit was still concentrating of big, fast gas-guzzlers.

Barack spoke today at a senior citizen center in Iowa where he promised to go after subsidies for private Medicare programs. He said cuts to those subsidies could provide up to $150 billion over the next ten years to strengthen the public system and lower prescription drug prices.
