baracktivator

I've designed a page to help Barack Obama supporters with netroots campaigning. The "beta" version can be found at:

baracktivator

In the left-hand column are two modules containing breaking news and blogs taken from Yahoo Pipes.

At the top is a Google search engine using my Adsense account, so maybe I can pay for the hosting service. To the right of the search engine is a module containing a YouTube feed of videos with the Barack Obama tag. Users can rate up good videos so they appear higher in the results page.

In the center is a viewer that can be used for various purposes. There is an email program for sending messages to major media outlets and also to elected officials.

Clicking on the button in the upper-right hand corner of each module produces either a full-browser view or goes back to the original size if in full-screen mode.

In the bottom right-hand corner of each module is a drag resize button that works ok with Internet Explorer but still has problems with Mozilla (Firefox and Netscape) browsers.

This is a work-in-progress that I hope will be useful come crunch time in helping people counter the spin and mudslinging that is sure to come.
