Clinton and McCain "burning" up cash

The Wall Street Journal's Washington Wire reports both Hillary Clinton and John McCain are spending heavily with the first polls still more than nine months away.

Clinton is hiring political consultants left and right, according to the report, in an attempt to deny them to other candidates.

Yesterday, the New York Times reported that their sources confirm that Clinton has less money in her campaign available for the primary than her opponent Barack Obama.

Obama popular with Muslim voters

Despite criticism over supposedly cuddling up with the Israel lobby, Barack Obama is the most popular candidate according to an ongoing poll by the Muslim Observer.

The Muslims for Barack Obama website states: "He’s not just a change from George W. Bush, he’s a change from the emerging crop of Democratic presidential nominees, all of whom are still equivocating on the war in Iraq. Obama is the only candidate who was on the correct side from the beginning, and unlike most politicians, understands our concerns because of his unique background. Through this group, we hope to work Muslim Democrats to ensure Obama gets the party nomination, and then work hard to get out the vote in key districts throughout America."
