Oakland rally nears

Some encouraging new polls show that Barack Obama continues to surge forward sharply cutting the "lead" of Hillary Clinton in both the Time and Harris polls. The CNN poll, on the other hand, showed no significant change. Again, these polls are rather useless in showing who will win the primary but are more an indicator of the mood now when people are not very focused on the election.

The Time poll also showed Barack leading Giuliani while the latter edges Clinton. However statistically, both matches up were virtual ties, for example, Obama lead Giuliani by only one point.
