BET co-founder endorses Obama

Black Entertainment Television (BET) co-founder Sheila C. Johnson, one of America's black billonaires, endorsed Senator Barack Obama today and promised to host a fundraiser for the candidate in April.

Robert Johnson, her ex-husband and the other co-founder of BET, supports Hillary Clinton.

Obama says Bush using "social darwinism"

At a Communications Workers of America conference in Washington, Obama said that the Bush administration was practicing "social darwinism" preventing the prosperity of all Americans.

"It's a strategy that we've seen this administration pursue over the last six years, that basically says government has no role to play in making sure that America is prosperous for all people and not just some," he said.
