Word on the Street

Expect lots of campaign stops in New Hampshire, Nevada, Iowa and South Carolina as these states determine who has the momentum for the rest of the election. There will be in order the caucuses in Iowa and New Hampshire and the primaries in Iowa and South Carolina before all other states.

It used to be that a candidate had to win New Hampshire in order to win the primary and election, but the last two presidents -- Bill Clinton and George W. Bush -- actually lost that state on their first runs.
