I set up this blog to discuss and promote the campaign of Barack Obama for the United States presidency.
Although still a longshot in the primary, Obama is the leading challenger to Hilary Clinton. His big challenge now is to catch up on fundraising. Hilary has some $14 million in the bank already.
Obama would do good to concentrate on winning the first one or two primaries. Fortunately he appears to be leading in New Hampshire so far. Once he shows he can win, things will start falling his way.
I chose Obama over Clinton, although either one would be great as they both represent firsts for minorities in the U.S. However, as opponent of the Iraq War, Obama's consistent opposition is more in line with my views. Also Hilary is a bit too "centrist" for me and I like Obama's emphasis on the environment.
Please feel free to leave your comments and suggestions on this blog.

Hello and thank you for choosing to support the Senator. I disagree about Hillary being as good a choice as Barack. With her she brings Bill as First Man in the White House. He not only betrayed her trust and Chelsey's but the people who elected him as well.
People talk about experience, I think maturity is a better word. Hillary lacks empathy in her support of genocide on the Iraqi people. Whereas Obama wishes to seek peaceful solutions to problems that ail us.
