It would come as no surprise that many of his fans took the opportunity of encouraging Obama to run during personal encouters at the signing events.

On the fundraising front, according to various press reports, the Obama camp is starting to pull in lots of financial support, and experts like Jan Baran and Robert Bauer don't see the senator having any problem raising the cash needed to get his message out.
