DCCC launches interactive map

The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) website now has an interactive map that allows you to find targeted House races across the country.

If you're local race is not included, don't worry as you will still benefit from efforts made by the DNC and other groups.

The DCCC is charged with electing more Democrats to the House of Representatives and it's normal for them to concentrate their resources on races that appear winnable.

Some races will be targeted for get out the vote efforts (GOTV) only, while others, probably the more winnable races, are getting both GOTV volunteers and TV ads. Again, the idea is to put more resources in races with the best chances of scoring a win.

Barack Obama supports the DCCC

Barack Obama sent out this email asking for contributions to the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC).

The DCCC helps elect Democrats to the House of Representatives. A majority of Democrats will be important in helping Obama push his agenda.
