“We’re Here to Mark the End of This War”
President Obama with the Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki talk about the final pullout of combat troops from Iraq. The U.S. will have no bases in the country but will maintain a rather large diplomatic corps with plenty of security due to the situation there.
The president is making good on one of his most noteworthy campaign promises from the 2008 election.
