Obamas vacation in Blue Ridge Mountains, NC

The Obamas arrived in the  Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina for a weekend vacation.

The family had a southern-style dinner and then went for a mountain hike.  The last time the president and his family were here was right before a big debate during the 2008 campaign.

Obama was the first Democratic presidential candidate to win North Carolina since Jimmy Carter in 1976.
