He has yet to appear golfing, jogging, or fishing like many of his predecessors. He's on a working vacation now, and earlier he took Michelle for a night on the town in New York City.
However, he has gotten an awful lot done in his first six months in office. If he does manage to pass a health reform bill before the end of his first year, he will have accomplished something that others have been working on for decades.
Obama spoke today in Phoenix where another protester showed up openly displaying a weapon -- this time an assault rifle. A Secret Service spokesperson said the man was in a designated viewing area and was not allowed near the president.
