Obama heads to G20 with challenges ahead

President Barack Obama heads to the G20 summit in Europe hoping to hammer out a plan to deal with the global economic crisis.

Obama is immensely popular abroad, but his ideas on reviving the world's economies has met resistance among other world leaders. Key European allies, for example, have balked at his call for them to stimulate their economies with increased spending.

The president's popularity and media mastery might help in prodding other members into consensus on a coordinated global effort on the recession.
