First Lady breaks ground for garden with schoolchildren

First Lady Michelle Obama broke ground for the new White House vegetable and fruit garden in the South Lawn.

Twenty-six elementary schoolchildren helped Mrs. Obama with the initial work and will come back in a couple of weeks to plant seedlings. In June, the children will come to harvest the garden and will help the White House chefs cook and eat a meal made from the produce.
