Obama celebrates Lincoln's bicentennial

President Barack Obama celebrated Abraham Lincoln's 200th birthday appearing at the reopening last night of the Ford's Theater, the location where Lincoln was assassinated. The president also spoke before the Abraham Lincoln Association at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Springfield.

Obama has often used Lincoln as a model for his own presidency.



A new exhibit at Washington's National Portrait Gallery celebrates Abraham Lincoln's 200th birthday. As Thalia Assuras reports, the exhibit shows an unexpected side of Lincoln.
