Obama authorizes $20.3 million aid package for Gaza

The White House announced Friday that it will send US $20.3 million in humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip.

"The Obama administration today announced an emergency contribution of more than 20 million dollars to relief efforts in Gaza as part of the Emergency Refugee and Migration Assistance Fund," Obama press secretary Robert Gibbs said.

United Nations agencies and the International Committee of the Red Cross working in Gaza will receive the money according to the State Department.
