In a little more than 100 hours since taking office, President Barack Obama has saturated Washington with new executive orders and introduced legislation.
Many thought that the cerebral Obama, who often had trouble with rapid-fire questioning during candidate debates, might act much more methodically once in office. But quite to the contrary the administration has moved very decisively and confidently on a wide range of issues.
Of course, Obama has many experienced folk on his team with many having served during the Clinton administration, so really it is just about Obama giving the go signal in many cases.
Hillary Clinton, for example, has made quite a splash at the State Department where there is reportedly a lot of enthusiasm among diplomats and staff eager for a new direction in foreign policy.
