Oprah show in DC during inauguration

Oprah Winfrey will host her television show The Oprah Winfrey Show live from the nation's capital on Jan. 19, the day before Barack Obama is inaugurated into office. Another show is also being arranged for Jan. 21.

Winfrey, who strongly supported Obama during his campaign, will broadcast the show from the Kennedy Center Opera House.

“That’s where I’m going to be,” told “Access Hollywood,” the television show that first reported the news. “That’s the place to be.”

No word on who will be making guest appearances on the show during the DC broadcasts.

The crowd estimates are in the millions. Being in DC for the days surrounding the inauguration itself will be an event worth remembering
