Union and Four Superdelegates Endorse Barack Obama

Sen. Barack Obama picked four superdelegates today and the endorsement of an important union.

The American Federation of Government Employees and its president John Gage endorsed Obama today.

"Our people, I think, recognize the enthusiasm and vitality behind Senator Obama's campaign," AFGE President John Gage said. Gage is also a superdelegate.

The other superdelegate endorsements are Reps. Peter DeFazio (D-OR) and Donald Payne (D-NJ); and DNC member Ed Espinosa of California.

Obama now needs only 163 more delegates to clinch the nomination.
