NARAL endorses Barack Obma

Barack Obama scored a surprise endorsement today when NARAL Pro Choice America announced their support for the Illinois senator.

"Today, we are proud to put our organization's grass-roots and political support behind the pro-choice candidate whom we believe will secure the Democratic nomination and advance to the general election," NARAL's president said in the release. "That candidate is Sen. Obama."
Obama also got another superdelegate today when Oklahoma Senate President Pro Tempore Mike Morgan announced his endorsement.

“Senator Obama embodies the character of a leader that I believe all Oklahomans and all Americans want—principled and strong and ready to change the way business is done in Washington. He understands bringing people together and giving everyone a seat at the table will move our state and our country forward, and I deeply admire that about Senator Obama.”

Barack now needs 134.5 more delegates to win the nomination.
