Here's an interesting video from MSNBC's Chuck Todd showing why, despite Hillary Clinton's victory tonight, it is now nearly impossible for Clinton to win the pledged delegate race.
Her only argument now is that she is able to win the "big states." However, she really can not suggest that Barack can not win these states in the general election.
Only a few of these big states are considered "swing" states that will not go to the nominated Democrat. Her main advantage is coming from traditional Democrats.
Now obviously these traditional Democrats are more dependable votes for the Democratic nominee than a lot of the independent and young voters attracted to Barack Obama. So I think there is a probability of a greater net loss of votes for the Democratic nominee if Obama is not the candidate.
The Pennsylvania supporters of Obama did a great job in narrowing Hillary's lead and making this a close race.
