March 4th Voter Info: Ohio, Texas, Rhode Island, Vermont
Tomorrow voters in Ohio, Texas, Rhode Island and Vermont will have their chance to add their voices to the millions across the country calling for change.
If you live in one these four states, please take a moment to review the information below to make sure you know when, where and how to vote for Barack:
In Ohio
Polling Hours:
Polls are open from 6:30am to 7:30pm. Voters in line at 7:30pm must be permitted to vote.
All registered voters can vote in the Ohio Democratic Primary, even Republicans and Independents.Identification Requirements:
At the polls, you must verify your identity and address with any of the following: valid photo ID, current bank statement, utility bill, paycheck, or any government-issued document.

In Texas
Polling & Caucusing Times:
Polls for the Democratic presidential primary are open from 7:00am until 7:00pm. Any voter in line by 7:00pm must be permitted to vote.
Precinct conventions begin at 7:15pm, immediately after the polls close. The precinct conventions are open to anyone who voted in the Democratic presidential primary.
Identification Requirements:When you go to vote, you should bring your voter registration certificate. If you have lost your certificate or forget to bring it, you may still vote by signing an affidavit and providing some other form of identification, including a driver’s license, photo ID, utility bill, bank statement, paycheck, government check or other government-issued document (such as a birth certificate, U.S. passport, and any official government mail addressed to you).
In Rhode Island
Polling Hours:
Polling hours vary by city, but open as early as 7:00am and no later than 9:00am. All polls are open until 9:00pm. Voters in line by 9:00pm must be permitted to vote. See the "FAQ" link below for specific town polling hours.
If you believe you were left off the voter list or otherwise prevented from regular voting by error, you must be allowed to cast a provisional ballot.
Identification Requirements:
No identification is required at the polling place unless you are a first-time voter who registered by mail and did not provide identification at that time. If this is the case, you must bring one of the following: a valid Rhode Island driver’s license, Rhode Island ID, current utility bill, bank statement, paycheck, government check or another government document.
In Vermont
Polling Hours:
Polling hours vary by town. Polls will open no later than 10:00am, and will be open until 7:00pm. Any voter in line by 7:00pm must be permitted to vote. There is no party registration in Vermont, so any registered voter can vote in the Democratic primary.
Identification Requirements:
When you go to vote, you should bring your voter registration certificate. If you have lost your certificate or forget to bring it, you may still vote by signing an affidavit and providing some other form of identification, including a driver’s license, photo ID, utility bill, bank statement, paycheck, government check or other government-issued document (such as a birth certificate, U.S. passport, and any official government mail addressed to you).
If you are a first-time voter in Vermont who registered by mail and did not provide identification at that time, you should bring a valid photo ID, current utility bill, bank statement, paycheck, government check, or other government document that shows your name and address.
