Back to Texas: Calling Delegates
The next stage of the Texas caucus is this Saturday, March 29th. At the county conventions, district delegates will meet to elect county delegates and move one step closer to finalizing the Texas results.
Turn-out for the initial March 4th caucuses was huge, and Barack won a decisive majority of the over 80,000 district delegates that were elected that night. But that was only the beginning. Attendance at the county convention is just as critical, and we’re following up with every delegate to make sure they know when and where to go on Saturday, and to find alternates where needed.
The more Obama delegates we're able to connect with, the better prepared we'll be on Saturday.
