Obama gets more endorsements

The Gloucester Daily News, which publishes nine newspapers in Massachusetts, endorsed Barack Obama today.

Those who seek change in this presidential election will find it in Obama. He would lead the nation in a sharply different direction in foreign policy and on domestic matters.

Obama may be untested but he offers a huge upside potential. We encourage New Hampshire Democrats and like-minded independents to cast their votes for Barack Obama.

In Portland, Maine, the Sunday Telegram said "the possibilities of an Obama presidency, not the list of his accomplishments, is what makes him the most exciting figure on the Democratic scene.”

“His abilities to compromise, inspire and speak to a broad spectrum of the electorate earns him our endorsement for the Democratic nomination in 2008."

The Air Travelers Association, a group that "advocates for airline passengers on airline safety, security, savings, and service" also endorsed Obama today. In a press release, the group's president David Stempler wrote:

We believe that Barack Obama is the best candidate for President, and as a forward-thinking President, will get NextGen passed in Congress, and then quickly implemented and deployed throughout the United States. We give our complete trust and support to Senator Barack Obama who can use his charisma, inspiration, and can-do attitude to solve many of the problems facing this country, including those involving our aviation system.

I am very impressed with what I have learned about Obama. I hope he does well in New Hampshire. Good luck!
