Barack Obama Muslim?

Democracy should be about liberty, equality and fraternity, and whether one is a Muslim or has the middle name "Hussein" should be irrelevant. Unfortunately, that is not the case in post-9-11 America and in the climate of fear created by the neo-conservatives.

However, when you really think about it the idea that Barack Obama is a hidden Muslim doesn't make much sense.

It would entail a 10-year-old kid keeping his supposed Muslim faith secret from his grandparents who raised him, from classmates, teachers and friends through elementary, middle and high school in Honolulu, Hawai'i, that bastion of Talibanism.

Then continuing to hide his religion as an adult, not praying publicly or going to mosque, throughout college and even hiding the fact from his wife of 15 years and from his kids while all the time attending a Christian church.

Supposedly Barack kept the secret since age 10 because he had ambitions at that young age to become president!

Any kid who could keep a secret like that for that long must be the al-Mahdi, the Muslim messiah.

Or else, perhaps Barack is not really a Muslim?
