Sen. Barack Obama will finally be visiting Sacramento on Aug. 8 and we at Sacramento for Obama are preparing to greet him.
The purpose of the visit is a high-end fundraising luncheon thrown by the Friedmans with a goal of raising at least $250,000.
Sacramento for Obama volunteers are arranging a rally and media event outside the venue, which houses Mikuni and PF Changs restaurants.
If you live in the area, you can sign up for the Sacramento Obama rally here.
Before coming to Sacramento, Obama will be at the College Democrats of America Convention at the University of South Carolina-Columbia, and on Aug. 10 he will again visit Las Vegas.
