Obama wows Seattle, visits California for funds

Sen. Barack Obama drew a crowd estimated at 3,500 in Seattle for his Washington state kickoff last night.

The big rally doubled as a grassroots fundraiser, and there were swankier affairs afterward including a $500 a person reception at the Westin Hotel, and a sponsor's reception for $2,300.

Obama visits the San Francisco Bay Area and Silicon Valley today to build up additional funds for his campaign. In addition to the big money events, there will be more accessible fundraisers including a meet-and-greet cocktail party at Plug and Play in Santa Clara.
