Barack Obama seen as most intelligent candidate

A Forbes '08 Tracker poll found that respondents felt Sen. Barack Obama is the most intelligent of all the political candidates with Fred Thompson coming in second.

The same poll also found as the third most "appealing" candidate behind Rudy Giuliani and Fred Thompson, and the highest rated Democrat in this category. However, Obama was rated last of all the candidates in experience.

Barack popular among Navajo

Despite their location in New Mexico and Bill Richardson's support of Native American issues, Navajo leaders are looking to invite Barack Obama to the Shiprock reservation where Obama is apparently the most popular candidate.

In recent elections, Navajo voters have strongly favored Democratic candidates.
