Camp Obama and "Obama Imagines"

This summer the Obama campaign will hold internship camps to train volunteers and potentially paid staff for the ground campaign needed to win elections.

Are you ready to take your commitment to Barack Obama’s campaign to the next level? Would you like to intern this summer or fall for the Obama Campaign in Chicago or one of the early primary and caucus states? Join Camp Obama!

Supporters from around the country will join the campaign for a 4-day training, campaign activities, and learning about Barack Obama and his vision for America. Half of each day will be spent in trainings and the other half in campaign activities such as canvassing, phone banks, and recruiting volunteers. After the training participants will be evaluated and offered an interview for internships, entry level campaign positions, or simply a greater volunteer role. Shorter weekend trainings will also be organized for those with less time available to participate.
