Spanish version of "The Audacity of Hope" in works

Barack Obama's campaign decision to highlight the depth of his support rather than the dollar figure was a smart one.

It's likely to appeal to his specific base of supporters and to attract many of the netroots crowd and progressives in general who are still undecided. And its not a move that his opponents are likely to imitate for two good reasons:

1. Barack's major opponents are mainly getting support from traditional sources including lobbyists and political action committees. Thus, they're not likely to match Obama's wide donor support.

2. It's difficult to "crunch" these numbers without getting caught because of campaign finance reporting.

The Audacity of Hope coming out in Spanish

Senator Obama's best-selling book The Audacity of Hope is scheduled to be released in a Spanish language version this June. "La Audacia de la Esperanza" will be released by Vintage Espanol, an arm of Random Books, with an initial printing of 50,000 copies.
