Campaigns release lists of black bundlers

Both the Obama and Clinton teams released a list of New York City African American fundraisers (bundlers) supporting their campaigns.

An interesting difference in each list is that Clinton's contains many older celebrity names like Robert Johnson (BET Entertainment), Quincy Jones (Quincy Jones/David Salzman Entertainment) and Berry Gordy Jr. (founder of Motown Records), while Obama's has younger stars like record executives L.A. Reid (Hitco Music Publishing) and Andre Harrell (Uptown Records, Motown Records, movie producer).

Obama's partial list of NYC African American bundlers: Brian Mathis (Provident Group), Jeh Johnson, L.A. Reid, Frank Cooper, Andre Harrell, Derek Johnson, Ray McGuire, Tracy Maitland, Judy Byrd Blaylock, Ron Blaylock, Earl Graves (publisher of Black Enterprise Magazine), Ann Fudge, Robert Smith, Vivienne LaBorde, Vaughn Willaims, Gayle Atkins, Charles Atkins, Gordon Davis, John Rhea, Wendy Credle, Alexis McGill, Rhonda Medina, Maxim Thorne, Jason Wright, Marc Mitchell.

Clinton's list: Clarence and Jackie Avant, Dana Wade Smith, Shahara Ahmad-Llewellyn, Binta Niambi Brown, Pamela Hayes, Tyson Pratcher, Carl McCall, Bob Johnson, Quincy Jones, Berry Gordy Jr. and Pam Pickens.
